Baby Talk/On A Roll

Avey and I had an interesting conversation the other day. It went a little something like this:

Dad: “Hey Avey, how was your day?”

Avey: “Blah blah blah. Blah blah, blah blah blah blah! Blah!!!”

Dad: “Is that so? My my, you’ve been busy rolling around I see.”

Avey: “Blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah. Blah blah?”

Dad: “Yes, you’ve picked that up very-“

Avey (interrupts): “BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH! Blah blah blah…” (sucks thumb and commences to smear Dad’s face with drool. Both ad lib until Mom enters).

The big news is that her first tooth has broken through! She won’t let us get a good look at it, but we can definitely feel it. It’s the bottom left incisor (with my limited dental vocabulary), and it’s just as cute as she is. While we wait for that to come in even further, she’s chewing on everything she can find.
