If We Were Natives…

I’ve been thinking lately about what might make a good American Indian name for Avey. You know: something that would say something about her personality in a nutshell. Here are a few that I’ve come up with:

1. Munchkin Walks About

2. Hair Waves in the Breeze

3. Folds of Fat Down the Legs

4. Little Blue Eyes

5. Belly Fat Walking

6. Screams for Music

7. Never Stops Eating Hot Dogs

8. Stuck at Water’s Edge (see post Narcissus for explanation)

9. Refuses to Nap

10. Lady Poops-a-lot (sounds a little more Medieval to me)

11. Little Eight Teeth

12. Demands it Now

13. Teeny Princess

14. Dances With Anything

15. Animals on the Brain

16. Messy Stinky Diaper

17. Makes a Mess of Anything

18. Nose in a Book

19. Chasing Squirrels

20. Gibberish Pours Out

Of course, I could go on and on, but those are some pretty good starters. Any other suggestions? I figure, with the way the economy is going, the people of the United States will probably all have to start living on the plains and hunting buffalo pretty soon, so we’d might as well all be thinking about spiffy names – just to be prepared.
